Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build

Following the launch of Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10512 just over one moths ago, Microsoft has officially released a brand new build of Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10536, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10536 features:

  • Insider Hub is now included
  • Mobile hotspot functionality has been fixed
  • Voice input has been updated to add support for Japanese and English (India) speech recognition
  • Single hop updates are again available from Windows Phone 8.1 to Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview for all devices
  • Two-factor authentication is fixed when setting up a device for both text and phone authentication
  • Start screen will successfully load instead of failing with “Loading …” displayed in a loop until device was rebooted
  • Quite Hours\Do Not Disturb has been fixed
  • Delay in showing date and time on Lock screen has been improved
  • Pinch and zoom in Maps now works as expected
  • Photos app has been Updated with folder view, faster photo viewing, context menus, faster zoom and panning, and favorites
  • One-handed mode has been added to all phones, which can be enabled by pressing and holding the Start button
  • The ability to Share your feedback through the Windows Feedback app
Reminder: Insiders running Build 10512 must update their devices twice, including Build 10514 and 10536.1000, in order to receive Build 10536.1004. Although, users with Windows Phone 8.1 can directly jump to the latest Windows 10 Mobile Preview Build.

Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10536 is now available through Windows Update, as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program.
