Google Reveals Nexus 5X

Google in collaboration with LG has officially revealed its latest and greatest affordable product, as well as the latest member joining the Nexus family, the Nexus 5X, delivering a successor to the two years old Nexus 5 that offers "top-line performance in a compact" form factor.

The Nexus 5X features 5.2-inch 1080p LCD display, Snapdragon 808 64-bit Hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, Adreno 418 GPU, Android Sensor Hub, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 12.3 MP shooter with 4k recording and 5MP front-facing camera, 2700 mAh Battery, USB Type-C with fast charging support (up to 4 hours of use in just 10 minutes), and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The phone comes in 7.3mm thin and weighs 126g, with polycarbonate design, Gorilla Glass 3, Fingerprint sensor on the back, Dual front-facing stereo speaker, IR laser-assisted autofocus, Slow motion videos, 4G connectivity (LTE cat. 6 support),WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO, dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz support), NFC, Project Fi support, as well as Carbon, Quartz, and Ice color options.

According to Google "The Nexus 5X offers top-line performance in a compact, lightweight design with a camera that takes great photos in all light conditions" The company continued "And it has Marshmallow, the latest version of Android working right out of the box".

The Google Nexus 5X is now available to pre-order starting at $379 through the Google Store, while the phone will begin shipping sometime next month.
