Apple Reveals iPhone 6s Plus

Apple has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the iPhone family, the iPhone 6s Plus, delivering "the most advanced iPhones ever, adding a powerful new dimension to iPhone’s revolutionary Multi-Touch interface".

The iPhone 6s Plus features 5.5-inch Retina HD (1920x1080) display, 3rd-gen A9 Chip 64-bit processor 70 percent faster CPU and 90 percent faster GPU performance compared to the iPhone 6 Plus, M9 motion coprocessor, 16/64/128GB internal storage, 12MP iSight shooter with 4K video recording and OIS, 5MP FaceTime HD Camera, 2nd-gen Touch ID, Up to 12 hours of battery life, and iOS 9.

The phablet comes in 7.3mm thin and weighs 192g (up from last year's 7.1mm and 172), with 7000 series aluminum metallic finish, 3D Touch (also known as Force Touch) that enable new gestures including Peek and Pop, Live Photos that captures moments immediately before and after the shot was taken, "Hey Siri" without iPhone needing to be plugged in, faster Wi-Fi and LTE Advanced, as well as Silver, Gold, Space Gray, Rose Gold color options. 

According to Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing "These are the most advanced iPhones ever, with 7000 series aluminum, ion-strengthened glass, the new 64-bit A9 chip, 12-megapixel iSight and 5-megapixel FaceTime HD cameras, faster Touch ID, LTE and Wi-Fi. Customers are going to love them".

The iPhone 6s Plus will be available to pre-order September 12 starting at $749, while the phablet will begin shipping starting September 25.
