Apple Releases Xcode 7.0.1

Following the launch of Xcode 7.1 beta 2 about a week ago, Apple has officially released a brand build of Xcode 7, Xcode 7.0.1 build number 7A1001 featuring a fix for app thinning that was supposed to be released alongside iOS 9, to developers for download and update.

Xcode 7.0.1 includes bug fixes related to App Thinning, which is designed to decrease the size of iOS apps, as well as optimization that lets developers tailoring app delivery to the capabilities of the user’s particular device with minimal footprint. Xcode also includes SDKs for watchOS 2, iOS 9, and OS X 10.11.

Xcode 7.0.1 is now available to download for free through the Mac App Store .
