Apple Releases OS X 10.11.1 Beta

Following the launch of OS X El Capitan GM just after the company's September Event last week, Apple has officially released a brand new build of OS X El Capitan, OS X 10.11.1 Beta build number 15B17c, to developers for download and testing.

OS X 10.11.1 features support for Unicode 8 and a range of new emoji including taco, burrito, cheese wedge, hot dog, middle finger, and a unicorn head. The new build of OS X El Capitan also comes with improvements in stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.

OS X 10.11.1 Beta is now available through Software Update or via the Mac Dev Center for registered developers.
