Apple Launches iPad Mini 4

Following the controversy of last year's iPad Mini 3, which was criticized for only bringing a new Gold color and Touch ID, Apple has officially announced its latest and greatest tablet, as well as the latest member joining the iPad family, the iPad Mini 4, delivering a new product that's "thinner and lighter than ever before, yet powerful enough to help you take your ideas even further".

The iPad Mini 4 features 7.9-inch Retina (2048x1536) display, A8 Chip 64‑bit Dual-core processor that offers 1.3x faster CPU and 1.6x faster Graphics compared to the iPad Mini 3, M8 motion coprocessor, 16/64/128GB internal storage, 8MP iSight shooter and 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera, Up to 10 hours of battery life, and iOS 9

The tablet comes in 6.1mm thin and weighs 298.8g (down from last year's 7.5mm and 331g), with multi-tasking features including Slide Over, Split View, and Picture in Picture, "Hey Siri" without iPad needing to be plugged in, Wi‑Fi only and Wi‑Fi + Cellular options, Touch ID, as well as Silver, Space Gray, and Gold color options.

The iPad Mini 4 is now available starting at $399 through the company's online store, while the tablet will ship within 4-6 business days.
