Apple Announces New iPhone Sales Record

Following the announcement of iOS 9 as Fastest Adoption Ever one week ago, as well as the launch of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in retail stores just three days ago, Apple has officially announced the latest update coming to its latest and greatest iPhones, including a brand new Sales Record.

Apple has announced that the company has managed to sell over 13 Million new iPhones in just three days, including the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, making it a brand new sales record for Apple, while beating every other sale of previous iPhone models, including last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

According to Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO "Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history," He continued "Customers’ feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can’t wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to customers in even more countries on October 9".

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is now available in select countries through both online and retail stores. Although, over 40 additional countries will get it starting October 9 including Italy, Russia, Mexico, Spain, and Taiwan, while the rest of the world will receive it later this year.
