Sony Announces PlayStation Vue Expansion


Following the launch of PlayStation Vue over four months ago, Sony has officially announced the latest update coming to its cloud-based television service, including the expansion of PlayStation Vue to other cities, as well as new content.

Sony has announced that Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami-Fort Lauderdale areas residents will be granted access to live local broadcast channels, such as local news, sports, alongside the ability to save their favorite shows to its cloud DVR through various multichannel packages starting at $49.99, including Access, Core, and Elite plans.

The company has also announced that it will be offering football (soccer) fans a brand new subscription-based channel called Fox Soccer Plus later this summer, as a standalone channel that will be featuring the UEFA Champions League, across the US for $14.99/mo, while PS Plus members will get it for $12.99/mo.

PlayStation Vue is now rolling out to Dallas and Miami for all PS4 and PS3 owners.
