According to 9To5Mac, Apple will be introducing the Apple TV 4th-Gen at its upcoming event, supporting a similar design to previous models with thicker and slightly wider dimensions, alongside new features such as Siri support, new remote control, an App Store, and refreshed user interface.
The reports also confirms that the company is working on its long rumored and much-anticipated Streaming TV Service, which is said to launch next year on both Apple TV 4th-Gen as well as 3rd-Gen, and will be rolling out as a software update.
Apple is expected to release the Apple TV 4th-Gen sometime in October for either $149 or $199, while the Apple TV 3rd-Gen will still be available for $69.
