Microsoft Announces New Xbox One Limited Edition


Following the announcement of the Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle about one month ago, Microsoft in collaboration with 343 Industries has officially revealed its latest and greatest Xbox One bundle, the Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle, offering players as well as Halo fans some new Halo-inspired "premium" hardware options.

The Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle features:

  • 1TB custom-designed Xbox One console and controller, inspired by Spartan Locke and UNSC technology
  • Full game download of Halo 5: Guardians
  • Warzone REQ Bundle including 14 premium Requisition Packs, FOTUS-class armor and exclusive multiplayer emblem
  • Alloy Guardian model designed by Metal Earth 
  • The Halo: The Fall of Reach animated series
  • Team dossiers for Blue & Osiris, and Spartan Locke’s classified orders
The company has also announced the Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Wireless Controller, featuring a metallic blue accents inspired by Spartan Locke and UNSC military insignias, and comes with a bonus REQ Pack including the Resolute visor, as well as the Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians – The Master Chief Wireless Controller, featuring a signature green and metallic orange accents of the Master Chief’s armor, and comes with a bonus REQ Pack including the Dauntless visor.

Last but not least, Microsoft has partnered with ASTRO Gaming to introduce the ASTRO A40+MixAmp M80 Halo 5: Guardians Edition headset, featuring a custom dark chrome matte finish with metallic blue accents, a subtle-yet-striking Halo-inspired graphical treatment, and an in-game REQ Pack.

The Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle is now available to pre-order for $499.00, while the bundle will begin shipping worldwide starting October 20. Both controllers are also now available to pre-order for $69.99, while retailers worldwide will get it starting early October. Last but not least, the custom headset is now available to pre-order for $220, while major retailers will receive it in September.
