Huawei Kirin 950 Chip Leaked

Following the reveal of the Kirin 930 alongside the Huawei P8 four months ago, the company is reportedly working hard on delivering its flagship chip, the Kirin 950 Chip, as a new report claims to obtain some benchmark test of Huawei upcoming SoC (system on a chip).

According to Wccftech, the Huawei Kirin 950 Chip will be featuring an octa-core processor (4x Cortex-A72 at 2.4GHz + 4x Cortex-A57), Mali-T880 GPU, and will be supporting the LPDDR4 RAM. The SoC was also able to score some pretty high number in a benchmark test, including 1909 in single-core scores as well as 6096 in multi-core scores.

The Huawei Kirin 950 Chip is apparently even more powerful that Samsung's latest and greatest SoC, the Exynos 7420, which is found on its latest flagships including the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Note 5, by 20% in multi-core scores as well as 30% in single-core scores.

The Huawei Kirin 950 Chip is expected to be revealed alongside the upcoming Huawei Mate 8, which has been said to be delayed for early next year.
