Final Fantasy VII Launches On Mobile

Following the launch of Final Fantasy VII on first-gen PlayStation consoles eight years ago, followed by computers one year later, and then announced for current-gen consoles late last year, Square Enix has officially announced that its role-playing game is now rolling out to mobile devices.

Final Fantasy VII for Mobile, which is considered one of the most critically acclaimed RPG of all time, features:

  • Simple and comfortable virtual controller design that enables a clear view of the action
  • The ability to choose between virtual analogue or fixed four-way digital control pad options
  • Adjustable opacity of on-screen controls through the configuration menu
  • Option to turn enemy encounters off on the world/area maps (event battles can’t be skipped) and a Max Stats command that enables players to become all-powerful in the blink of an eye
Final Fantasy VII is now available on iOS for $15.99. Unfortunately, there is now word yet on Android or Windows Phone availability and release date.
