BlackBerry Introducing The Passport Silver Edition


BlackBerry has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Passport family, the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition, delivering a "premium device built for business professionals who want a smartphone with the mobile tools they need to get things done – without sacrificing style or portability".

The Passport Silver Edition features 4.5-inch (1440 x 1440) Square display, Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, MicroSD Card (up to 128GB), 13 MP shooter with OIS and 2MP front-facing camera, 3450mAh battery, and BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3.2.

The phone comes in 9.25 mm thin and weighs 205g, with refined, curved corners, reinforced stainless steel frame, diamond pattern soft touch back, Touch-enabled Keyboard, 4G connectivity, FM Radio, BBM Video, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Remember, BlackBerry Assistant, as well as Silver color option.

According to Scott Wenger, Global Head of Design at BlackBerry "We strive to deliver products that combine cutting-edge technology with purposeful, globally recognized design, and the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is the latest manifestation of this vision," He continued "It brings together BlackBerry’s latest OS platform, enhanced productivity features, and a refined industrial design based on customer and user feedback to deliver an unmatched experience for professionals who value precision and focus".

The BlackBerry The Passport Silver Edition is now available in US for $549 through the company's online store, alongside some free accessories for a limited time, including a Sync Pod, Leather Flip Case, and a Leather Flex, while Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, and Selfridges will get it in the next couple of weeks. Last but not least, EU is scheduled to receive it in the coming weeks.
