Apple Releases OS X El Capitan Beta 6

Following the launch of OS X El Capitan Beta 5 to developers as well as OS X El Capitan Public Beta 3 to public beta testers just one week ago, Apple has released a new build of OS X El Capitan, OS X El Capitan Beta 6 build number 15A244d, to developers for download and testing.

Similar to OS X El Capitan Beta 5, the sixth build of OS X El Capitan is a minor update featuring enhancement to the operating system, under-the-hood performance improvements, as well as bug fixes. Although, OS X El Capitan Beta 6 also includes a few lines of code that reference the rumored 4K 21.5-inch Retina iMac. Alongside OS X El Capitan Beta 6, Apple has also released Apple Configurator 2.0 beta 5 for easily setting up and deploying groups of similarly or identically configured iOS devices.

OS X El Capitan Beta 6 is now available to download through Software Update or via the Mac Dev Center for registered developers.
