Apple Releases iOS 8.4.1

Following the launch of iOS 8.4.1 Beta 2 couple weeks ago, Apple has officially released an all-new build of iOS 8, iOS 8.4.1 build number 12H321, which is probably one of the last if not the last build of iOS 8 since iOS 9 is just around the corner, to the public for download and update.

iOS 8.4.1 is a minor update featuring bug fixes, performance enhancements, as well as under-the-hood performance improvements such as:

  • Resolves issues that could prevent turning on iCloud Music Library
  • Resolves an issue that hides added music because Apple Music was set to show offline music only
  • Provides a way to add songs to a new playlist if there aren't any playlists to choose from
  • Resolves an issue that may show different artwork for an album on other decides
  • Resolves several issues for artists while posting to Connect
  • Fixes and issue where tapping Love doesn't work as expected while listening to Beats 1
Reminder: iOS 8.4.1 does kill the possibility of jailbreaking your iDevice, including TaiG Jailbreak and PP Jailbreak, so if you want to keep your jailbreak alive, it is highly recommended to stay away from this new update.

iOS 8.4.1 is now available through Software Update or via iTunes to all qualified iOS users.
