Android Pay Launch Date Leaked

Following the announcement of Android Pay alongside Android M back at Google I/O about three months ago, a new report claims to obtain some inside document revealing that Google's all-new mobile payments platform will be launching this week.

Although Google has previously announced that Android Pay, the company's successor to Google Wallet and the carrier-backed Softcard, will be coming to the US sometime "later this year", the leaked documents suggest that "later" could be coming as soon as this week, as a new memo to employees has started rolling out to multiple McDonald's locations.

Google will reportedly be launching Android Pay in US starting August 26 in various stores including McDonald.
