Acer Introducing Aspire One Cloudbook

Acer has officially revealed its latest and greatest affordable product, as well as the latest member joining the Aspire family, the Aspire One Cloudbook, delivering an online-oriented portable notebook powered by Microsoft's latest operating system.

The Aspire One Cloudbook features 11/14-inch HD (1366x768) LED-backlit display, the latest Intel Celeron mobile processors, 2GB DDR3L RAM, up to 64GB internal storage, full-sized HDMI, USB3.0, USB2.0, and SD Card ports, full-sized chiclet keyboard and large touchpad supporting Windows 10 gestures, Wi-Fi802.11ac, and Windows 10.

The notebook comes in 17.9mm thin, with fan-less design, mineral gray cover with dotted textile pattern, 1-year subscription of Office 365 Personal1 and up to 1TB OneDrive online storage, Acer’s cloud-enabled abApps, and dual digital microphones with enhanced digital signal processing. Although, the 11-inch model weighs 1.15kg, while the 14-inch model weighs 1.6kg.

According to Peter Han, Vice President of Worldwide OEM Marketing, Microsoft Corp "This new Cloudbook from Acer is a sleek, affordable device that takes advantage of new functionality of Windows 10 together with Microsoft services including Office 365 and OneDrive," He continued "This device offers the total package for both consumers and students to get more done while on the go".

The Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11-inch model will be available this month in US starting at $169, while EMEA will get it in September starting at €269. Last but not least, the 14-inch model will be released in US next month starting at $199, while EMEA will receive it October starting at €299.
