Windows 10 Lifecycle Officially Revealed

With Windows 10 launch date just around the corner, Microsoft has officially revealed the latest details about its latest and greatest Windows OS, Windows 10, giving Windows users an idea on for how long Windows 10 will be supported.

Similar to previous Windows releases, Windows 10 will also have a lifecycle that begins when it launches to the public and ends when it's no longer supported by the company, and now Microsoft has revealed that Windows 10 lifecycle will begin when Windows 10 launches, which is expected to be starting July 29, and end October 13, 2020 for its mainstream support. Although Windows 10's extended support won't end until October 14, 2025.

According to Microsoft "Every Windows product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it's no longer supported. Knowing key dates in this lifecycle helps you make informed decisions about when to upgrade or make other changes to your software.

Windows 10 will be available on PC and Tablet devices starting late July, while Xbox One and Mobile devices will get it later on.
