Samsung Introducing Galaxy A8

Following multiple Galaxy A8 rumors as well as Galaxy A8 leaks over the past few months, Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Galaxy A family, the Galaxy A8, delivering the company's thinnest smartphone to date.

The Galaxy A8 features 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, Octa-core processor (4x1.5GHz + 4x1GHz), 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 16MP shooter with f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front-facing camera, 3,050mAh battery, and touchwiz on top of Android Lollipop.

The phablet comes in 5.9mm thin and weighs 151g, with metal frame and aluminum back, fingerprint sensor, 4G connectivity, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, Samsung Smart Manager, as well as White, Black and Gold color options.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy A8 in China. Unfortunately there is now word yet on the phablet's pricing, as well as whether or not it will make it out of Asia.
