OnePlus Introducing OnePlus 2

OnePlus has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as its "2016 Flagship Killer", the OnePlus 2, offering a high-end flagship smartphone at a very affordable price tag, while delivering a successor to last year's OnePlus One.

The OnePlus 2 features 5.5 inch 1080p IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 810 v2.1 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, Adreno 430 GPU, 3/4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 16/64GB eMMC v5.0 storage, 13MP shooter with OIS and Laser autofocus, 5MP front-facing camera, 3,300 mAh battery, and Oxygen OS on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The phone comes in 9.85mm thin and weighs 175g, with Aluminum frame, Customizable navigation keys, Bottom-facing speaker, USB Type-C, Alert Slider (None, Priority, and All notification alerts), capacitive button that doubles as Fingerprint sensor, 4G connectivity, Dual-SIM support, Sandstone Black color option, as well as StyleSwap covers with "premium materials" including Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot, and Kevlar.

According to OnePlus "With the OnePlus 2, we have something bold to say. We believe that great products come from great ideas, not multi-million dollar marketing campaigns. We believe 'that’s just the way things are' is almost always the wrong answer. Most of all, we believe that great things should be shared".

The OnePlus 2 will be available August 11 in US, Canada, India, EU, and China starting at $329 for the base model (16GB storage and 3GB RAM), while the higher-end model (64GB storage and 4GB RAM) will go for $389. Last but not least, Southeast Asia will get it in Q4 of 2015.
