Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Insider Preview Build


With Windows 10 launch date less than three weeks away, and following the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10162 just one week away, Microsoft has officially released a new build of Windows 10 for computers, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10166, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Similar to the recent Build 10162, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10166 will be featuring bug fixing and fit-and-finish. Micrsoft has also announced an new app for Windows 10 called Microsoft Wi-Fi app, allowing residents of the Seattle area to buy paid Wi-Fi through the Windows Store, alongside the ability to choose your prefered payment method including a Credit or Debit Card, Microsoft Gift Card, or PayPal. Although the service will be rolling out soon across the US.

According to Microsoft "For those of you on older builds – now is definitely the time to upgrade to the most current build. Grab 10166 from Windows Update today or build 10162 ISOs from the Windows Insider Program website".

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10166 is now available through Windows Update for users who are already running a previous Windows 10 build, as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program.
