Google Launches Lava Pixel V1 (Android One)


Following the announcement of QMobile A1 three weeks ago, Google has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Android One family, the Lava Pixel V1, as part of the company's continues effort to push "high-quality, up-to-date smartphones" through its Android One Program.

The Lava Pixel V1 features 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 32GB), 13MP shooter and 8MP front-facing camera, 2650 mAh battery, and Android v5.1 Lollipop.

The phablet comes in 8.5mm thin and weighs 135g, with 73.6% screen-to-body ratio, 3G only, Dual-SIM support, pre-loaded with Google apps and services, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG support, as well as White-Silver and Gold color options.

The Lava Pixel V1 is now available across India's leading national retail stores, multi-brand outlets, and online stores for Rs 11349 (about $177).
