Apple Releases New Firmware Update For Macs


Following the release of OS X El Capitan Public Beta 2 just hours away, Apple has released a new Firmware Update for Mac users, titled MacBook Pro Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0, for download and install.

Apple has released MacBook Pro Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0 for all MacBook Pro Mid-2015 models, which includes the all-new 15-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display that was released over two months ago, in order to fix a storage firmware issue that could cause data corruption in "rare cases".

According to Apple "This update is recommended for MacBook Pro (mid 2015) models. This update addresses a storage firmware issue that, in rare cases, may cause data corruption".

MacBook Pro Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0 is now available to download through the Mac App Store, or via the company's support website.
