Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Insider Preview Build

Following the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10074 as well as the announcement of Microsoft's Partnership with King Digital Entertainment, the company has officially released the latest build of Windows 10 for computers to download and testing.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10122 features tuning, tweaking, stabilizing, and polishing including:

  • Start and Continuum improvements: visual layout refinement
  • Microsoft Edge: New Tab Page, Audio Indicator , and InPrivate Mode
  • Changes to how Windows 10 handles default apps: New notification banner will appear to select your defaults
  • Redesigned Insider Hub: redesigned to match the same design as the other Universal Windows apps included in Windows 10
The new Windows 10 Insider Build also includes bug fixes such as:
  • The visual glitch (“rectangle slivers”) has been fixed 
  • Major Microsoft Edge (Project Spartan) crashes has been fixed
  • Developers who go to the "For developers" will no longer crash the Settings app
  • Graphics driver fails to install from Windows Update with error code 80070103 has been fixed 
  • The IPv4 properties of an Ethernet adapter on your PC is now editable
  • Fonts would render blurry on High DPI displays has been fixed 
  • Keyboard shortcuts in Microsoft Edge including "Control + L or Alt + D" has been fixed
Reminder: AMD GPU users are likely to run into frequent crashes in Microsoft Edge on this build

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10122 is now available through Windows Update for users who are already running a previous Windows 10 build, as part of the company's Fast ring builds program.
