Youtube announced some of its upcoming plans including a separate mobile app for creators. The company published a Creator Preview video which breaks-down what they are working on to make YouTube better for Creators. This is a list of the upcoming features:

A feature that allows fans to directly contribute funds to their favorite creators on YouTube
A way to harness the power of the crowd to create captions and subtitles for your videos in 60+ languages
