This is what vape-hacking looks like

Last week, the e-cigarette industry had a run-in with the Girl Scouts. The issue? Thin Mint-flavored e-liquid. Wacky flavors are a huge part of the culture that has cropped up around nicotine vaporizers, but it doesn't stop there. In addition to creating their own custom flavors, vapers like to tamper with the insides of their devices to make what are called "mods."

It's sort of like rolling your own cigarettes rather than buying packs. Vape shops do a robust business in "rebuildable" devices, while the internet offers endless YouTube videos and forum posts explaining how to alter the atomizer to get a stronger flavor or tweak the battery to get a deeper puff. Just be careful it doesn't explode.
