According to the WSJ Samsung's next smartwatch may be a stand-alone one, which means it will not need to rely on a phone for full functionality.
The smatwatch will reportedly be able to make and receive phone calls, take photos, and send email, and will be equipped with GPS, bluetooth connectivity, and a heart rate monitor, SIM card and will run Samsung's Tizen OS.
The report also claims that Samsung is already in talks with carriers in the US, South Korea, and Europe, which will be announced in June or July.
