The Samsung Galaxy S5 is one the first Android devices running the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, while the nexus 5 is on its predecessor Snapdragon 800.
On paper, It’s obvious that the 801 is faster, but YouTuber Chris Nacca has performed a UI Performance test between the Nexus 5 and Samsung Galaxy S5, and it didn't translate in real life performance mainly because the Nexus 5 is running stock android and and the Galaxy S5 is on TouchWiz and it has bloatwares.
