38% Galaxy S5 upgrades come from iPhone owners

It's been a Week since Samsung started selling its Galaxy S5 in more than 120 countries. CompareMyMobile observed trends for a week and reveals interesting data. 38% of owners of a Galaxy S5 had an iPhone before switching. The most notable change is the iPhone 4s toward the Galaxy S5.

According to Co-founder of CompareMyMobile Ashley Turner “ Consumers looking to trade-in their old devices to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S5 are not aware of the predecessor’s depreciation in trade-in value that typically happens following the release."

Apple was the site's most traded-in brand of last year, with 28.9 per cent of all customers exchanging their mobiles for money doing so with iPhones.
