Age of Empires: Castle Siege Finally Lands On Android


Following the launch of Age of Empires: Castle Siege on Apple devices about two years ago, Microsoft Studios is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has announced that its cross-platform real-time strategy game has finnaly arrived to Google-based mobile devices.

Age of Empires: Castle Siege features:

  • Cross-platform real-time strategy game
  • Create an empire and guide it through the Medieval Era
  • Allows players full control of all units during the battle 
  • High-level strategy challenges 
  • The ability to earn achievements, prizes, and climb to the top of the leaderboards

Reminder: If you are already playing with an Xbox Live account on Windows or iOS, you can now continue your progress on Android devices too!

Age of Empires: Castle Siege is now available to download around the world as a free-to-play game on Android devices running Android Kitkat and up.

Larry Hryb, the director of programming for the Microsoft gaming network Xbox Live, has officially revealed the latest Xbox 360 title coming to current-gen Xbox consoles, offering players a chance to play one of their favorite last-gen games on their brand new consoles.

The new Xbox One Backward Compatible Titles include:

  • Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution 
  • Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
The new Backward Compatible Titles is now rolling out for free on Xbox One to those who previously owned the games on last-gen consoles. Although, players can also purchase them directly from their current-gen Xbox consoles.

New OnePlus 2 Update Released


Following the launch of OxygenOS 3.5.7 to the 2015 Flahgship Killer just one month ago, OnePlus has officially announced the latest software update coming to the OnePlus 2, the OxygenOS 3.5.8, which is unfortunately still based on Android Marshmallow.

OxygenOS 3.5.8 for OnePlus 2 includes:

  • Updated Google security patch to 1st March 2017
  • Fixed echo issue during video calls in Duo App
  • Fixed persistent network drop issues
  • Fixed data roaming issue in certain countries
  • Improved audio compatibility
  • General bug fixes
OxygenOS 3.5.8 (MM) is now rolling out as a free update to all OnePlus 2 devices. Although, some users may not get it immediately due to the update being released as an "incremental rollout".

Super Mario Run Launches On Android


Following the release of Super Mario Run on Apple devices late last year, Nintendo is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has officially announced that its much anticipated side-scrolling, auto-running video game will finally begin landing on Google-based mobile devices.

Alongside the launch of Super Mario Run on Android devices, Nintendo has also announced the 2.0 update of the game for Apple devices, which includes:

  • New playable characters added!
  • More of the game is now available to play for free!
  • New buildings to be added
  • Easier to get Rally Tickets in the Bonus Game House
  • Easy Mode can now be selected at the entrance of World Tour courses
  • The appearance rates of different colored Toads in Toad Rally has been adjusted
  • Adjustments have been made to the tutorial to make it easier to understand
  • Ease of play has been improved
  • Other changes and improvements
Super Mario Run is now rolling out on Android devices for free. Although, to all of the game content available can be unlocked after paying a set purchase price.

Xbox Announces Games With Gold


Microsoft has officially announced the latest free titles coming to Xbox Live members, offering both current-gen as well as last-gen players a chance to add some new titles to their game library at no additional cost, as part of the company's Games With Gold program.

Games With Gold for April include:

  • Ryse: Son of Rome - Available from April 1-30 (Xbox One)
  • The Walking Dead: Season 2 - Available from April 16- May 15 (Xbox One)
  • Darksiders - Available from April 1-15 (Xbox 360)
  • Assassin’s Creed Revelations - Available from April 16-30 (Xbox 360)
The free titles will be available starting 
April 1st exclusively for Xbox Live Gold members. Although, Xbox 360 titles can also be played on the Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility feature.

Sony Mobile has officially announced its latest and greatest budget-friendly product, as well as the latest member joining the Xperia family, the Xperia L1, delivering a brand new phablet that "performs as good as it looks".

Super Mario Run Android Launch Date Revealed


Following the launch of Super Mario Run on Apple devices about three months ago, Nintendo is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has announced that its much anticipated side-scrolling, auto-running video game will finally be arriving on Google-based mobile devices this week.

Super Mario Run will enable fans of the franchise on Android to:
